Eligibility requirements are as follows:
If you are a veteran, you must have an honorable or general under honorable DD-214 discharge, we need a copy of that along with the $50 annual membership fee and application!
If you are a parent of an active duty or reserve duty or National Guard serviceman or servicewoman, or a spouse of a veteran, your child or veteran spouse must also join or be a Legion member for you to qualify for membership to our Auxiliary Unit. $40 annual membership fee and application will also be required. **If your child or veteran is deceased, you are still eligible to join us***
To join the Sons of the American Legion you must be a son, stepson or grandson of a veteran, and that veteran must join or be a Legion member. **If that veteran is deceased, you are still eligible! You will need their name, dates of service, branch they served in, war era if known, and an application and $25 annual membership fee.
