Our District 7 Convention is Saturday, April 22 in Madisonville at Post 84. Any member in good standing can attend the convention, but they have to register and pay the registration fee. We will be conducting a Memorial Service for those members we lost this past year. We will be addressing many business issues and voting. Delegates must have their membership cards.
CONVENTION INFORMATIONA Joint Session (TAL/Aux/SAL) will be held in the morning with a guest speaker. We anticipate a number of Department and Division Officers to be present.Following the Joint Session, a Memorial Service will be conducted, followed by lunch.
Lunch will consist of BBQ Brisket and Chicken with assorted sides. A salad bar will also be available.
There will be a number of raffle and silent auction items. Proceeds help pay for future conventions and fund all 3 district organizations (TAL/Aux/SAL) projects and budget requirements throughout the year.
Following lunch, we will break into our individual business meetings.Two agenda that will be conducted include #1-Voting for a new District Commander and Vice Commander and #2-Approve the new District Constitution and By-Laws.
